Constitution overview
1. Protection of Rights: Safeguard the rights, freedoms, and civil liberties of the Australian people against unjust laws and ensure basic human rights for all citizens.
2. Direct Democracy: Empower the public through direct democracy, transferring decision-making power from government institutions to the people via mechanisms like referenda and citizen assemblies.
3. Governance Oversight: Establish stronger governance, oversight, and accountability of police and law enforcement agencies, focusing resources on genuine public safety.
4. Legislation Against Entrapment: Introduce specific legislation to prohibit entrapment practices in Australia.
5. Presumption of Innocence: Reinforce the principle of “innocent until proven guilty” in all courts of law.
6. Rights During Emergencies: Safeguard the rights of citizens during martial law or national emergencies.
7. Freedom of Speech: Defend the fundamental rights to freedom of speech and uncensored access to information, protecting citizens from ideological or harmful influences.
8. Justice System Reform: Advocate for reforms in the justice system to ensure fairer sentencing, bail, and parole laws, including the abolition of the joint enterprise doctrine.
9. Sustainable Immigration Policies: Promote sustainable immigration policies that protect Australia’s social cohesion, cultural values, and national security, opposing mass immigration.
10. Taxpayer Control: Enhance public control and transparency over taxation, allowing taxpayers a direct say in revenue collection and spending while minimizing tax burdens.
11. Member Empowerment: Empower Party members to amend the Constitution and shape the Party’s direction through internal democratic processes.
